Window Shades, Window Canopy, Bistro Blinds –Similar Still Different

Can’t we leave the windows just open? Why to cover them with window shade or bistro blinds when you have had them to make sure that it makes way for air circulation and gives you a proper view of the outside world?

Though this sounds to be the right thing to do, you would not do it, because keeping the window open has its own drawbacks like anyone can break into the house and the house would not be safe against natural conditions. Hence it is necessary to use window shades, window canopy, bistro blinds or whatever else that can keep your window secure.

Window ShadesThough meant for the same purpose of covering your window, each one of window shades, window canopy and Bistro blinds differs. Window shades cover your window from top to bottom, meaning they can be moved from bottom to top to uncover the window. Available in different types like honeycomb, natural woven, roller, fabric, solar, pleated etc they are sure to add to the beauty of your home.

Window canopy also known as window awnings are the slant sheds fitted on the outside of the window to make sure heat, cold, rain or dust do not enter into your rooms. They come in different designs like canvas awnings and so offer you more choices. Lastly bistro blinds, though they go with windows they are used mostly to make your outdoor a part of your indoor area. Outdoor pergola blinds is a better example of bistro blinds.

Thus though all three – window shades, window canopy and Bistro Blinds have something to do with the window, they are different and more specific in their design and purpose.

  16. Having a leaf guard for gutters is essential in Australian homes, particularly when you are living close to the bush or have a great number of trees around your property. However, even those who live in the suburbs will still need to deal with leaf debris, bird life and pests that can find their way into your gutters. A solution to all this is to install a leaf guard.
